HAHAA..i m singaporean btw. this is so funny. they r definitely gettin e wrong picture here..but just to clarify something, in school,a child will only get caned if he is really naughty til the point such that the act actually constitutes to a crime.n the caning can only be done by the school principal, no one else.

Yeah, it's talking about spanking if the child doesn't study well. It's unthinkable that canes are sold in convenience stores as well! Oh well, spare the rod and spoil the child maybe....
